Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC)
CRC is a new mandatory
emissions trading scheme that aims to improve energy efficiency and
reduce the amount of CO2 emitted in the UK. CRC is applicable to all
organisations that, during calendar year 2008, had at least one
half-hourly electricity meter (HHM) settled on the half-hourly
market, and consumed at least 6,000 MWh of electricity through all
of its HHMs.
